A group of hackers has stolen five million credit and debit cards data from US store customers and puts them on sale, according to Gemini Advisory’s cyber security company yesterday.

According to the company, it is the work of the self-proclaimed JokerStash team, which recently announced that it has stolen personal data and sold for about 125,000 records.

“In cooperation with many financial institutions, we have confirmed with great certainty that the records were stolen by Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor. We estimate that the interceptions relate to the period from May 2017 to today, “

says the company’s communiqué.

Most of the customers in these stores, who have been victims of interceptions, reside in New Jersey and New York.

The stores belong to Canadian Hudson’s Bay Bay Co.

“This cyber-attack is one of the biggest and most devastating to date in retail companies,

support cyber-security experts.

According to the report, JokerStash hackers have previously stole personal data from chain store customers such as Whole Foods, Chipotle, Omni Hotels & Resorts and US Chain Hotels Donald Trump.
